Located in the heart of Milan’s prestigious Fashion District, Provasi returns to Fuorisalone with Casa Provasi, a new installation exploring the dialogue between tradition and contemporary living. Conceived as an intimate and understated domestic setting, the home becomes a repository of everyday memories and lived experiences. Through a refined narrative, the installation evokes the presence of those who inhabit its spaces, revealing
traces of life unfolding in a specific place and moment. Visitors are guided through three rooms, each defined by a central element that shapes its atmosphere and identity. The journey concludes in an outdoor setting, where Provasi unveils its first-ever outdoor kitchen. Following the success of previous editions, the building’s façade once again becomes the stage for a large-scale site-specific installation. Conceived by Margherita Bellodi and curated by Martina Corbetta, Visione Granito transforms the architecture into an immersive landscape. As its title suggests, Visione Granito begins with a shift in perspective. The façade is no longer perceived as the boundary separating exterior from interior, but as a surface capable of opening onto an entirely different spatial experience. What first appears as a simple architectural skin gradually dissolves into the image of a rocky landscape. Through an intricate stainless-steel mesh, entirely shaped by hand, a shimmering silver mass emerges and slowly takes on the presence of stone. The delicate metal sheet becomes charged with tension, transforming into a sculptural body that evokes the sensation of stepping into an authentic natural environment, where the relationship between humans and landscape remains immediate and unspoiled. Rather than marking a division between reality and illusion, this threshold invites visitors to observe their surroundings more attentively—especially through the changing presence of light. Light settles across the surface, lingers, reflects and slips away, continuously redrawing the work throughout the day. With every passing hour, new perceptual landscapes emerge. The surface becomes a territory to explore. Architecture is no longer simply a container, but a field activated by subtle forces, opening onto an experience that feels both deeply physical and quietly universal.
